Oh, but this is a good morning!
My coffee is steaming hot
A fragrant rose someone sweet gave to me
reminds me I’m loved a lot

I sit with my thoughts of life and dreams
wondering what today will unfold of friends
whom I cherish, who stand by me

The rain fall today but I bask in the warmth
and I know Spring will soon come along
with azaleas, crocuses and daffodils
